Thank you for visiting the “About Me” part of my website! I’m a Notary Public/Loan Signing Agent that serves in the East Bay and Bay Area. 

My friend Shirley does Loan Signing part time in her retirement. She loves her job, often talks about how fulfilling it is, and what a great way it was for her to supplement her income now that she’s retired. During one of her many inspired moments of excitement, I asked her if she thought I would make a good Loan Signing Agent, to which she answered, “Yes…Yes! You would make a great Loan Signing Agent!” Thus began my journey into the Notary world.

I used to work in a Quality Control (QC) Lab at Celera Diagnostics. Celera Diagnostics was a company that made diagnostic kits that were FDA approved and TUV (EU) approved for medical purposes. As you can imagine the documentation had to be exact, complete and accurate. The stringency and attention to details required in my QC experience is directly transferable to Loan Signing work.

• Everything has to be signed and dated a certain way
• Corrections have to be processed precisely as instructed or the document will be rejected
• Paperwork has to be filled out, double/triple checked and turned over to the next person to ensure timely release of product (or in the loan process, funding)

However, there’s more to loan signing than what is entailed in the specifics listed above. For loan signings I guide signers through the paperwork answering their “what” questions and filling out forms. If there are questions about how something should be filled out, I direct signers to the appropriate people to answer their questions, such as their Real Estate Agent, Loan Officer, Escrow Officer, Lawyer, or Accountant. 

• My husband Daniel and I attend a local church ⛪ where I currently serve in the Nursery and Care Ministry. 
• I love ♥️ crafts such as card making, jewelry making, and the like. 
• My friends and I love to hike or walk 🚶🏻‍♀️ whenever we find time to hangout. 
• My husband and I also enjoy spoiling our dog 🐕 Athena who fills our home with smiles and wiles!
• I love making lists 📝, because it’s a dopamine rush to cross them out!
